The Galaxie Swing Dance Classes

The Galaxie- your favorite movement, music and fine art venue- is swingin' it again. With 4 week classes and one-time workshops in August, you're sure to find something you (and your friends!) will enjoy learning!

The week of August 3 brings social dance workshops in salsa, tango, aerials and Lindy Hop showmanship. Below are the details, and full class descriptions and sign-up can be found on the Galaxie web site at http://www.galaxiechicago.com:

Intro to Salsa

Aerials (partner required)

Showmanship for Lindy Hoppers

Ever go dancing at a club or a wedding and wish you knew some sweet moves? Well, that's why you learn to social dance! The Galaxie offers a short 4 week session in social dancing in forms such as Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Zydeco, Honky Tonk 2-Step, and Cha-Cha.
